Sónar announced the first 66 artists for its 2025 Barcelona edition in November 2024. Scheduled for June 12–14, the programme included Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Peggy Gou, Helena Hauff, Overmono and Arca.

The first announcement also paired Skrillex with Blawan and Armin van Buuren with Indira Paganotto for back-to-back sets. Bicep’s Chroma audiovisual show and a planned Plastikman performance added further live-production elements.

Actress and Suzanne Ciani’s joint project Concrète Waves was also included. The initial programme brought together Sónar by Day, Sónar by Night and Sónar+D, with further Sónar Week details due after the announcement.
