Actress and Suzanne Ciani released Concrète Waves through Werkdiscs in March 2026. The collaboration launched a new series on Actress’s label focused on improvised recordings.

The project grew from performances at venues and festivals including London’s Barbican, Sónar in Barcelona and Portugal’s Semibreve. Barbican and Sónar co-commissioned the live collaboration, following conversations between the two artists that began in 2024.

The music was announced in digital form and as a limited double gatefold vinyl edition. It documents a meeting between Ciani’s electronic practice and Actress’s production approach, extending the collaboration beyond its original live settings.
