Jamie xx released In Waves on September 20, 2024 through Young, nine years after his solo debut In Colour. The 12-track album brings together collaborations with Robyn, Honey Dijon, The Avalanches and his bandmates in The xx.

Romy and Oliver Sim join him on Waited All Night, while Kelsey Lu, John Glacier and Panda Bear appear on Dafodil. Other tracks include Baddy On The Floor, Life and All You Children.

The release followed The Floor, a run of ten consecutive club nights in London where Jamie previewed material from the record. In Waves arrived on digital platforms, CD and vinyl, with a deluxe vinyl edition adding a bonus disc.
