DJ Tennis and Ashee have teamed up to unveil their exciting new collaborative project, Tenashee, alongside the debut of their A/V installation Superposition in collaboration with  visual artist MAOTIK. The immersive installation at London’s W1 Studios  will remain in place throughout September, culminating in the highly anticipated Tenashee live A/V show debut on September 19.

Superposition, designed by French artist MAOTIK makes full use of W1 Curates’ unique multi-screen architecture. Through the interplay of lines and cubic geometry, the installation alters perceptions of space by transforming both the interior and exterior of the building into a fluid, evolving structure. The visual elements are reactive to frequency and tempo, starting from minimalism and evolving into complex graphical compositions, all synced with deconstructed sounds from Tenashee’s forthcoming musical works.

The Tenashee project emerged during the pandemic when DJ Tennis found himself stranded on a Caribbean island, while Ashee was producing in isolation in London. With limited access to instruments, the duo embraced creative freedom, focusing on the pure joy of making music without a set destination. This collaboration is the result of years of exploration and experimentation, now finally coming to fruition.

The Superposition exhibition runs till September 30, opening hours here.
