Carl Cox announced a Sunday residency at Ibiza’s new UNVRS venue in January 2025. The series was scheduled to run from June 22 to September 21, forming part of the club’s debut summer at the former Privilege site.

The announcement came nearly a decade after the end of Cox’s long-running residency at Space Ibiza in 2016. He had continued to play on the island, including a DC-10 residency in 2022 and appearances at other venues.

UNVRS positioned the Sunday series as a central part of its first season. It was the first residency announced for the venue, ahead of further artist and event details.
